Neve Campbell might be out of “Scream 6“, but she’s already returned to her scary movie roots in a new blood donation campaign for the American Red Cross. Their tagline is: Blood isn’t just for movies, it saves lives.
There’s a (surprisingly well-produced) video for the campaign, and it shows how bad decisions in horror movies lead to blood loss. Like running away from a killer without a weapon, or going to a cheerleading camp next to an abandoned insane asylum.
Neve said, quote, “Lots of people need blood, whether they’re fighting cancer or giving birth or say, potentially getting stabbed . . .
“50% of Americans like watching blood get spilled in horror movies. What’s scary is that only 3% donate it.”
