Believe it or not, it’s been almost a dozen years since we’ve heard new music from HUEY LEWIS & THE NEWS. But the drought ends NOW.
They just released a new track called “Her Love is Killin’ Me“. It’s part of a new album that’ll be out next year. It doesn’t have a title yet.
Huey and the boys did the theme song to the movie “Pineapple Express“ in 2008.
Their last album was called “Soulsville”, and it came out in 2010. But it was full of R&B covers. Their last full album of new material was 2001’s “Plan B”.
Meanwhile, JEFF LYNNE’S ELO also dropped a new track yesterday. It’s called “From Out of Nowhere“. It’s from an album of the same name that’s due out November 1st.
