SPORTS: The NFL’s First Butt Interception Was Overturned by a Penalty

Football fans all remember the “Butt Fumble“.  But something even more miraculous just occurred on “Monday Night Football”:  A Butt INTERCEPTION.  (!!!)

The game was between the L.A. Rams and the San Francisco 49ers.  Niners defender K’WAUN WILLIAMS broke up a pass to COOPER KUPP.

Then . . . as he was falling to the ground, he caught the ball himself by pinning it to his WIDE-OPEN CROTCH from behind with one hand.

Alas, the “buttception” was not to be.  Williams was flagged for pass interference, thus negating one of the most amazing catches in NFL history.

Or as one guy said on Twitter:  “Referees’ decision:  Taint a catch.”
