WATCH: S*per B*wl Commercials – What We Know, So Far (UPDATED 1.31.20)

The Super Bowl commercials have been underwhelming the past few years . . . partially because a lot of them hit the Internet ahead of time.  That, or the ad campaigns are “previewed” online, so we basically know what’s coming.

Still, there’s plenty of buzz for Super Bowl ads . . . so let’s spoil them again with a FULL RUNDOWN of everything we know so far:

Facebook is making its Super Bowl commercial debut this year, with Chris Rock and Sylvester Stallone. (Here’s a teaser.  And another.)

Secret’s ad has football fans cheering after a kicker makes a kick . . . only to discover that it was a FEMALE player. It’s supposed to, quote, “spark a dialogue about the possibility of women playing [in] the NFL.”  It stars U.S. soccer players Carli Lloyd and Crystal Dunn.

SodaStream’s ad features Bill Nye the Science Guy, and it has a man accidentally drinking water that was found on Mars.

Comedian Rob Riggle is a Chiefs fan, and he’s starring in the “first-ever interactive” Super Bowl ad. It also stars Sofia Vergara and Busy Phillips.

It’s a choose-you-own-adventure style commercial, where you can vote for how you’d like it to go at WhenWeComeTogether.com.  Supposedly, they’ll air the most popular choice.  (Here’s a teaser.)

GMC is bringing the Hummer back! As an ELECTRIC truck?  (Here’s a clip.)

Polls show that people don’t like mixing sports and politics . . . and they don’t want to see political Super Bowl commercials. But unfortunately, we’ll have to sit through in-game ads from President Trump and Mike Bloomberg.

There’s an Audi ad where Maisie Williams from “Game of Thrones” drives while singing “Let It Go” from “Frozen” for some reason.

There’s the line at the end about how “the cold never bothered me anyway,” which might be a loose reference to “Game of Thrones” . . . but it’s still random.

Bud Light made two ads for Bud Light Selzer with Post Malone, but they can only air one . . . so they want US, the viewers at home, to choose. (Here’s #PostyStore and here’s #PostyBar.)

If you care, you can hit up Bud Light’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages to cast your vote using the #PostyStore and #PostyBar hashtags. Or don’t.

A full, Cheetos “Can’t Touch This” ad with MC Hammer is out.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen star in an ad campaign for Genesis . . . the luxury division of Hyundai. Interesting Fact:  There was originally a HELICOPTER in the first two seconds of the commercial . . . but they edited it out after Kobe Bryant died.

(Hyundai is also doing that “Smaht Pahk” ad with the Boston accents.)

Kia’s ad features Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs, who returns to his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to give his younger self some advice. Josh was homeless in middle school.

The full Little Caesars ad is out. Rainn Wilson plays the owner of the Sliced Bread company, which is in danger of no longer being “the best thing.”

Microsoft’s ad is an inspirational one starring Katie Sowers, the offensive assistant coach for the San Francisco 49ers.

The Pepsi Zero Sugar ad featuring Missy Elliott and H.E.R. is out. They perform a version of the Rolling Stones song “Paint It Black”.

Pop Tarts is advertising their new Pop Tarts PRETZEL in an ad with Jonathan Van Ness from “Queer Eye”.

Snickers released their full “fix the world” ad. Basically they feed the Earth Snickers by dropping a giant candy bar into a hole in the ground in order to make everything better.  It’s a parody of those feel-good, let’s-all-come-together ads, and it really works.

Charlie Day and Emily Hampshire sort through their own dirty laundry in a Tide commercial.

TurboTax has an ad with people dancing to a song about doing your taxes.

Wal-Mart has a movie-themed ad with . . . Groot, Buzz Lightyear, Legos, the talking pug from “Men In Black”, “Bill & Ted’s” Alex Winter, a de-aged version of Alex Winter, and the aliens from “Mars Attacks”.

Jennifer Lopez is performing during the half-time show, but she’s also in a commercial for Hard Rock, which features a mystery thief stealing her “bling cup.” (Here’s a teaser.)

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi did an ad for Alexa.

Coke will use its Super Bowl ad to plug its new energy drink, with a little help from director Martin Scorsese. (Here’s a teaser.)

Heinz’s ad features FOUR commercials in one.

Bill Murray was spotted filming a “Groundhog Day”-themed Super Bowl commercial for Jeep. It was in Woodstock, Illinois, where the movie was shot.

Coincidentally, the Super Bowl is happening on Groundhog Day, February 2nd.

They got Bill’s brother Brian Doyle-Murray and Stephen Tobolowsky to reprise their roles as Mayor Buster Green and Ned Ryerson, respectively.  There’s no word on whether Andie MacDowell will return as Rita Hanson.

Apparently, Planters is still going through with their funeral for Mr. Peanut. And now, we’re hearing that the idea to kill Mr. Peanut was inspired by “Avengers: Endgame”, somehow. (Here’s video.)

(Read more about that, here.  But be WARNED, they talk about a character who died . . . so that’s a HUGE spoiler if you haven’t seen the movie, and are STILL dodging spoilers, NINE MONTHS later.)  (???)

Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl commercial with Jimmy Fallon and John Cena working out together has hit the Internet.

Bryan Cranston does a Jack Nicholson impression in an amusing Mountain Dew ad that parodies the “Here’s Johnny” scene from “The Shining”. It also features Tracee Ellis Ross.  (Here’s video.)

Jordan Peele’s new Amazon show “Hunters” has a trailer airing during the Super Bowl. It’s about Nazi hunters, and it stars Al Pacino and Logan Lerman.

Google has a Super Bowl ad that will make you cry . . . because that’s what everyone wants during their Super Bowl party.

The “Rick and Morty” Pringles commercial is out.

Finally, a long, THREE-MINUTE version of the Squarespace ad where Winona Ryder returns to her birthplace of Winona, Minnesota, has been unleashed.

Remember Isaiah Mustafa, the ripped Old Spice guy on a horse?

Well, he’s returning in a new Super Bowl ad 10 years after the original . . . and this time he’s an “embarrassing dad” to his son, who’s played by “Straight Outta Compton” star Keith Powers.

Two spots have hit the Internet . . . and in both, Mustafa is only wearing a towel around his waist.  (Check them out, here and here.)

There’s also an ad for Sabra Hummus, starring former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” enemies Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo. (Here’s a teaser.)

Lil Nas X is doing a Western-themed ad for Doritos . . . and his “Old Town Road” collaborator Billy Ray Cyrus is also onboard. (Here’s a preview.)  Sam Elliott is also a part of the campaign.  (Here’s that.)

There will be a Pepsi ad starring Missy Elliott and H.E.R.

Molly Ringwald is starring in a campaign for Avocados From Mexico. (There are teasers, here and here.)

Little Caesars is doing a commercial with Rainn Wilson from “The Office”. (Check out teasers, here and here.)

MC Hammer is doing a Cheetos ad. (There are teasers, here and here.)

There will be a Pop Tarts ad with Jonathan Van Ness from “Queer Eye”. (There’s a preview, here.)

Hyundai is doing a commercial with former “SNL” star Rachel Dratch and former baseball star David Ortiz, a.k.a. Big Papi. There’s a clip online where they’re working on a Boston accent.  (Check it out, here.)

Mountain Dew is parodying “The Shining”. (Check it out, here.)

Pringles has tapped Rick and Morty! (Here’s a teaser.)

Budweiser is playing it SAFE this year . . . and no, it’s not another sappy ad about cute barnyard animals. Although, they might do that too.

It’s a patriotic, feel-good commercial about “Typical Americans.”  (Here’s the ad.  And it looks like they might be going back to the “Whassup!” well.)

Kia has a feel-good ad, as well. (Here’s a teaser.)

Winona Ryder stars in a Squarespace commercial about returning to her birthplace of Winona, Minnesota. (Here’s video.  She also shows off her weird way of pronouncing laundromat.)

Katie Couric is in an ad for Olay. (There are clips, here and here.)

Snickers is working to “Fix the World.” (There are clips, here and here.)

Bill Nye the Science Guy is doing an ad for SodaStream. (Here’s a teaser.)
