Statement of EEO Policy
This EEO Public File Report is filed in compliance with Section 73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of Station(s)  KOZZ, KDOT, KUUB, KPLY, KHIT___________________________.

In addition to direct job vacancy announcements and hiring procedures, we complied with the initiative outlined in the 2002 EEO Rule Sec. 73.2080(c)( 2) regarding supplemental recruitment activity. For this reporting period we participated in or conducted the following:

Menu Option #14 – Provision of training to management level personnel as to methods of ensuring equal employment opportunity and preventing discrimination. – Lotus Corp. Annual Corporate Management Meeting was held December 5 and 6 at the Lotus Corporate Headquarters located at 3301 Barham Blvd. Los Angeles, California.  In attendance were all Corporate Executives including the Senior Vice President in charge of compliance, Senior Vice President and CFO, The Corporate Chief Engineer, and the General Managers of Lotus Radio and TV stations.  The GM’s presented their updated list of “menu options” as well as their list of contemplated menu options regarding the various subject matters of job fairs, interns, etc.  Mention was made of the importance of the “Monthly EEO Meetings” which include the reading of the anti-discrimination mission statement as well as “hire needs” and menu options completed. Menu Option #5 – Establishment of an internship program designed to assist members of the community to acquire the skills needed for broadcast employment. Currently, Lotus has an intern, Luke Walker of Barrett Honors College, earning 2-3 credit hours for school credit. His internship is focusing on producing a weekly radio sports show as well as being an on-air personality. His internship began on May 9, 2012. Menu Option #7  - Participation in scholarship programs designed to assist students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting - Lotus Radio Corp partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charity Scholarship Program to give $1,000 towards a broadcast scholarship matched by Ronald McDonald House to be given to local high school students looking to study broadcasting in college. Menu Option #8 – Establishment of training programs designed to enable station personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them for higher level positions. – Lotus Radio Corp offered training programs to all employees interested in cross-training in different departments. Part-time employees especially have the chance to learn new skills. Employees hired as remote techs have the opportunity to become board ops, air-talent and possibly move to the administration side of the industry.  In the current year, we had two employees begin as remote techs and trained to be board operators.  June 1, 2011 – May 31, 2012 All Lotus Corp. Menu Option #6 – Participate in job banks, internet programs, and other programs designed to promote outreach generally (i.e., that are not primarily directed to providing notification of specific job vacancies); When we have any open positions, they are listed on the Nevada Broadcasters Association internet site which promotes outreach generally plus serves as an important information resource for Nevada’s Radio and Television broadcast stations, addressing questions and concerns.  They also respond to questions and concerns from the public, providing a better understanding of the role that broadcasters play in their communities and in their interest.
