KOZZ is Part of the Following Community Events:

Reno Rock Camp is a music camp for kids who are between the ages of 8 and 17.  It offers a variety of programs designed for students who are interested in drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, mixing and vocals.  The spring camp sessions begin on March 30th and April 6th.  For more details, please click the pic.
It's Girl Scout cookie time!  The Girl Scouts help build courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place.  You can buy cookies from your favorite Girl Scout or order online.  For more info, please click the pic. 
The EddyPalooza music festival will feature local music and food.  It'll take place on April 2nd at the Atlantis Resort and Casino.  All proceeds support the Eddy House Youth Resource Center.  For details, please click the pic.
The Nevada Health Centers' Mammovan provides free mammograms for uninsured and under-insured women.  The Mammovan will be in various Washoe County locations through March.  For dates and locations, please click the pic.
Pedestrian fatalities are increasing in Northern Nevada, but you can help.  When driving, always scan for pedestrians.  If you're walking, remember that you're virtually invisible from dusk to dawn - bright or reflective clothing can save your life.  For more safety tips, please click the pic.
